Canadian Human Rights Commission The Canadian Human Rights Commission administers the Canadian Human Rights Act and is responsible for insuring that the Employment Equity Act is upheld. These two laws ascertain that the principles of non-discrimination and equality of opportunity in all areas under federal jurisdiction are maintained.
Canada Industrial Relations Board The Canada Industrial Relations Board’s mandate is to promote the establishment and maintenance of efficient labour relations in all companies under the jurisdiction of the Parliament of Canada.
Ordre des CRHA ET CRIA du Québec The Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines et relations industriels du Québec (ORHRI) is the primary human resources management and industrial relations reference organization in Quebec. Recognized by the “Professional Code”, it is the only organziation devoted to the advance of human resources and the protection of the public in Québec. It is also the only organization authorized to confer the designations of certified human resources professional (CHRP) and certified industrial relations counsellor (CIRC).
The Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service Federal Mediation and Conciliation Services were created in order to help employers and unions subjected to the Canada Labour Code to settle and prevent their disputes.
